Soul Cleanse Begins

by Samantha Brightwell on November 30, 2009

First day of Earth Week. My Physical Self really needs some TLC. All my good intentions are set but I’m not quite getting with it yet.

Eat light? That became ‘eat pasta’ tonight, which is not what my body is asking me for. But I’m blaming it on the sleepless night with Rubin last night – I am just so tired! and when I’m like that I crave carbs and caffeine.

Still, I’ve drunk lots of water and had no tea or coffee since about 4pm.

Plan: to bed, a little after 10pm. And book a massage treatment tomorrow, for more grounding and balancing the physical later in the week.

Julie, come along too, if you like ~ do as little or as much as you care to do.
If I do nothing else except the sleeping regime this week, I know I will have benefited hugely.
Though a massage would be lovely too.

Well I’ve already started I guess. This morning the kids and I started the day with warm lemon juice followed by fresh vegetable juice (beetroot, celery, cucumber, carrot, a touch of apple and calc/mag powder).About half hour between
And……..I’ve just spent the entire weekend cleaning out the pantry and arranging it so the kids only see more vegetable protein when peeping in to find a snack. All the starches (bread etc) are below eye level and it’s worked. Not one of them went for bread today.

Oh, Oh , Oh and we all did stretching and non weight bearing exercises. (sit ups, lunges, biceps and triceps and buttocks exercises etc) All in all, it’s been one hell of a fantastic weekend. Domesticity is bliss.

btw……..the weather has been total shite for outdoor activities. but with such fabulous company, I really do adore the people I call my children, they’ve become the most amazing individuals. Well actually, they’ve always been amazing individuals. There is evidence of ‘the proof is in the pudding’ and that makes my heart sing. And that fella I… See More’ve been with for 21 years (half my lving life) makes for a complete family experience that I am so grateful for and humbled to be part of.
Life is bliss
