A Girl With a Plan

I’m Sam Brightwell: an English girl, with a plan to change the world, which begins from a small back room in a cottage in Dorset.
I’m a writer, a conscious-living coach and a business advisor. When I’m not filling pages of notebooks with quotes and scribblings and ideas for books, I’m busy building and repairing businesses. Sound odd? It’s not really. Being creative is living the instinct to produce, and to shape the world the way you want it to be. For me, being creative and being an entrepreneur are impossible things to separate.
As one of my heroes said,
An entrepreneur is someone who wants to shape their own destiny, someone who is always marginalized, always outside, always a bit out of kilter.
(Anita Roddick)
Now that sounds as much about being a writer as it does being an entrepreneur to me.
I started my first blog in January ‘09, to write about my spiritual path. Now I’m here at Out of the Void writing about my journey along the Writer’s Road, and about being authentic, and finding my power – all vital aspects of developing my writer’s voice.
One thing I’ve learned for sure is that writing changes you, and if you do it a lot, you can change really fast. Simple, perhaps. But it also takes courage. And that’s what I want to encourage other people to find. I’m interested in creating a massive culture of success. Too ambitious? Well, I need a damn good reason to get out of bed in the morning, and this one excites me a lot.
So, here’s the deal. I can help you with some cool stuff:
- Writing
I can help you with your writing, give ideas, direction and support, or provide killer copy for your website or blog - Web strategy
I can help you create a truly distinctive website or blog, to suit your personal or professional requirements, and give you advice on creating effective content and branding your stuff
And just to be clear, this is not your average, run-of-the-mill advice of the ‘problogger’ or ‘copyblogger’ variety. If you want formulaic, 51-ways-to-succeed type stuff, go there. However, if you’re prepared to think different, excel and expect nothing less than your best, then stick around, drop me a line, let’s chat. I’ll be glad to meet you.
If it’s business advice you’re after, I suggest you sign up for my business support programme, How To Build A Really Good Business, and with that you’ll get a whole bunch of regular, sensible, intelligent input, plus one-on-one access to me for advice and support.
It’s going to be a busy year. Let’s make this one count.
